Career Point University celebrated the 79th Independence Day with pride, patriotism, and gratitude for the sacrifices of those who have safeguarded the nation’s freedom. The entire university community came together to mark this occasion with meaningful events that honored India’s glorious past while inspiring commitment toward a stronger future.
Flag Hoisting Ceremony
The celebration began with the flag hoisting by Hon’ble Vice Chancellor Dr. Sanjeev Sharma Ji. The ceremony was attended by retired veterans, university officials, faculty, students, and spirited cadets from NCC, NSS, Bharat Scout & Guide (BSG), and the Military Training Centre (MTC). As the National Flag was unfurled and the National Anthem was sung, the atmosphere was filled with a deep sense of unity and patriotism.
Felicitation of Real Heroes
On this historic day, the university proudly felicitated Captain Manjeet Sandhu (12 JAK Rifles) and Captain Vinod Sandhu (Paramilitary). Their courage, dedication, and unwavering service to the nation were recognized and saluted by the entire university community. Cadets’ Presentations during Freshers’ Orientation
As part of the Independence Day program, cadets from NCC, NSS, BSG, and MTC introduced the newly admitted students to their respective cells. Through presentations, they highlighted the values of discipline, service, leadership, and teamwork that each unit instills in its members. This session not only familiarized freshers with the opportunities available at the university but also inspired them to actively participate in nation-building activities.
