Career Point University, Hamirpur proudly celebrated its 11th Convocation Ceremony, marking a significant milestone in the academic journey of its graduating students. The occasion was graced by the Hon’ble Chief Guest, esteemed dignitaries, university leadership, faculty members, students, and their families.
On this auspicious occasion, the Hon’ble Chief Guest and dignitaries released the University’s Annual Report along with the book “Sustainability & Resilience” published by the Department of Commerce & Management Studies, reflecting the university’s commitment to academic excellence and sustainable thinking.
The ceremony witnessed a collective moment of pride as all degree recipients came together, celebrating their achievements, perseverance, and success. Graduates shared joyful moments with family and friends, making the day even more special, as every achievement feels complete when celebrated with loved ones. A major highlight of the convocation was the presentation of degrees by the Hon’ble Chief Guest and esteemed dignitaries, where hard work met honour and graduates stepped forward into a future of promise and purpose.
Research excellence was also recognised as Ph.D. scholars were honoured with the Best Thesis Award and the prestigious Sanjeev Gautam Award for Research Excellence, acknowledging their outstanding scholarly contributions.
In a moment of great pride, Career Point University conferred the Honorary Degree of Doctor of Science (D.Sc., Honoris Causa) upon Padma Shri awardees Shri Nek Ram Sharma, Shri Kartar Singh Sonkhlae, and Shri Hariman Sharma, in recognition of their lifelong contributions and distinguished service to the nation.
The event featured an inspiring address by the Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, Dr. Sanjeev Sharma Ji, who presented key highlights from the University’s Annual Report, showcasing academic milestones, achievements, and impactful initiatives.
