We in collaboration with Hamirpur District Rifle Association recently organized the Hamirpur District first Open Shooting Championship 2023. The inclusive event, held from June 9th to June 11th, welcomed 84 participants from different districts of Himachal Pradesh, including specially abled students. Among the participants was Komal, a specially-abled shooter from Bilaspur district, who won a gold medal. In a remarkable display of support, the honorable Vice-Chancellor, Dr. Sanjeev Sharma, announced that Career Point University would cover all of Komal’s educational expenses. The participants showcased exceptional shooting skills, and the presence of Captain Dhyan Chand Sharma as the chief guest added prestige to the event. The successful organization of the championship highlighted Career Point University’s commitment to inclusivity and nurturing diverse talents. .
