Career Point University, Hamirpur (CPUH), through its Institution Innovation Council (IIC) and Directorate of Community Service, in collaboration with the Division of Botany, organized a successful 3-day workshop on Prototype Design & Development.
Day 1 & 2: Expert Lectures

Dr. Gulshan Kumar and Dr. Karan Thakur delivered insightful lectures on prototype design principles and development strategies. Participants learned about user needs, iterative testing, material selection, and integrating technology in prototype creation.
Day 3: Hands-On Training

The final day featured practical training on cooking healthy millet products, led by Ms. Sarita Devi and Ms. Sudershana Dogra from the Adi Shiv Dham Self-Help Group. Local women and CPUH students learned to prepare nutritious millet-based dishes, promoting healthy eating habits.
Community Engagement
This workshop underscored CPUH’s commitment to community engagement and practical education, participants with new skills and knowledge.
The event was a resounding success, enhancing both technical and culinary skills, and strengthening the university’s connection with the local community. CPUH looks forward to organizing more such impactful workshops in the future.
