Day 1: Inauguration

The International Workshop on “Menstruation: Embrace without Embarrassment” (MEE 2024) kicked off on 22nd May at Career Point University. Prof. Geeta Bhatt from NCWEB, University of Delhi, and Dr. Suneel Kashyap from the University of Delhi inaugurated the event, emphasizing the need for open conversations about menstruation.

Day 2: Expert Insights

Ms. Richa Sharma from CPUH and Dt. Manisha Thakur from FITELO, India, led Day 2. Their sessions focused on institutional support and nutritional advice for menstrual health. Students engaged in a declamation and poster-making competition.

Day 3: Medical Perspectives

Day 3 featured Dr. Anupam Manhas from CPUH, Dr. Sakia Haque from the Ministry of Health, Bangladesh, and Dr. Akhilesh Sharma from the College of Ayurveda, California. They provided diverse medical and holistic insights on menstruation.

Day 4: Institutional Support

Ms. Shivali Rathore and Dr. Indu Sharma from CPUH, along with Dr. Ruchi Shah from ICMR, CAR University of Kashmir, discussed institutional roles and research advancements. Students from New Era Public School participated in creative competitions.

Day 5: Practical Demonstrations

Dr. Jayashree Samantaray and Dr. Usha led Day 5 with practical demonstrations of menstrual hygiene products and yoga sessions. Students from Trisha College showcased their talents in competitions.

Day 6: Psychological Insights

Dr. Jyoti Walia from Ramshobha College of Education, Jharkhand, discussed the psychology of adolescent girls around menstruation. Students from Diamond International Public School participated in creative competitions.
