The Bharat Scout and Guide Unit of Career Point University continued its Awareness Campaign started under the HP Chapter of the Indo-US Millet Initiative in Himachal Pradesh to aware citizens regarding the Importance of Millets on the occasion of the International Decade of Millets (2024-2034) In Collaboration with India Millet Initiative and Sorghum United, USA from Feb-June 2024. In March, the campaign was for the people of Mandi District, under which members of Mahila Mandals, Gram Panchayats, NGOs, and students were awarded by Expert Talk. Expert talks were delivered by Dr. Manu Vineet Sharma, Dr. Diksha, Dr. Neha, Dr. Sanjeev, and Mr. Kundan.
Through interactive sessions, the campaign successfully raised awareness about the importance of millet for human health and environmental conservation. Participants were encouraged to embrace millet as a nutritious and sustainable food option, contributing to a healthier and more environmentally conscious society.
