Career Point University students recently had a remarkable academic experience during their visit to IIT Mandi to attend the 2nd International Conference on Mind, Brain & Consciousness (MBCC 2025). This three-day event provided a platform for young minds to engage in high-level academic dialogue, gain exposure to emerging global ideas, and deepen their understanding of interdisciplinary topics.

A Chance Encounter with Inspiration

What began as a simple morning walk on the serene IIT Mandi campus turned into an unexpected and unforgettable moment—our students had the opportunity to interact with the Hon’ble Director of IIT Mandi. The spontaneous exchange of thoughts and ideas with such a respected academic leader left a lasting impression on them, further igniting their motivation to pursue academic excellence and innovation.

Academic Exposure at Its Best

Throughout the conference, Career Point University students actively participated in:

  • Technical sessions led by international and national experts
  • Panel discussions on consciousness, cognitive science, and neuroscience
  • Interactive workshops that encouraged critical thinking and collaborative learning

These sessions offered a unique opportunity to explore complex topics beyond classroom learning, helping students build a more holistic understanding of the academic landscape.

Beyond the Conference: Real-World Learning

The experience wasn’t just about attending sessions—it was about immersion in an intellectually rich environment. Being part of a global academic gathering allowed our students to:

  • Network with researchers and scholars from diverse fields
  • Observe how interdisciplinary knowledge contributes to solving real-world problems
  • Gain confidence in presenting ideas and asking insightful questions

Shaping Future Leaders

At Career Point University, we believe in exposing our students to opportunities that not only broaden their knowledge but also shape their perspectives. This visit to IIT Mandi is a perfect example of how real-world academic exposure fosters leadership, critical thinking, and global awareness among our students.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to IIT Mandi for hosting such a meaningful event and to all faculty and coordinators who made this experience possible.
