In a commendable celebration of academic reform and progressive education, the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) at Career Point University organized a special event marking the 5th anniversary of the National Education Policy (NEP). The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from students of the School of Basic and Applied Sciences, who engaged in an insightful discussion on the policy’s transformative impact on higher education.
The highlight of the event was an expert session led by Dr. Kuldeep Kumar, Dean – Academic Affairs, who elaborated on the vision, principles, and implementation strategies of NEP 2020. He emphasized how the policy promotes flexibility, multidisciplinary learning, skill integration, and innovation-driven education principles already embedded in CPU’s academic framework.
Through real-life examples and practical implications, Dr. Kumar encouraged students to embrace the evolving educational landscape with curiosity and adaptability. His address shed light on NEP’s aim to empower learners with not just degrees but also employable skills and critical thinking abilities.
The celebration not only acknowledged a national milestone but also strengthened Career Point University’s ongoing commitment to aligning with NEP’s core values, ensuring inclusive, learner-centric, and future-ready education for every student.
