With passion, energy, and the true spirit of sportsmanship, the Career Point University, Hamirpur (CPUH) contingent of 24 talented students set off to represent the University at the “Ranneeti” Sports Fest 2025, hosted by IIT Mandi. Competing in Volleyball, Basketball, and Badminton, the team carried with them not just skill, but also the pride and determination that define the CPUH spirit.
The athletes were warmly welcomed by Hon’ble Vice Chancellor Dr. Sanjeev Kumar Sharma Ji and other university officials, who encouraged them to uphold the values of teamwork, integrity, and dedication throughout the tournament.
Rovers Embark on a Leadership Journey at Nipun Training Camp
Adding to the University’s vibrant student engagement, Rovers from CPUH also departed for the Nipun Training Camp held at Riwalsar, organized by the Bharat Scouts and Guides. The camp aims to instill leadership, service, and character development values that form the cornerstone of the Career Point University experience.
With the blessings of the Vice Chancellor and the support of faculty mentors, the Rovers set out on a journey of learning, teamwork, and personal growth, representing CPUH with pride and commitment.
The Roar Continues: From Victory to Glory
The sports fest proved to be an inspiring journey for CPUH athletes, who showcased unmatched energy and excellence from the very first match.
- Day 1: CPUH defeated IIT Ropar, setting a powerful tone for the tournament.
- Day 2: Continuing their winning streak, the team triumphed over IIT Mandi Alumni, advancing confidently into the Semifinals.
- Semifinals: Displaying stellar teamwork, the CPUH Volleyball boys overpowered Shoolini University with a 2–0 straight-set victory, securing their place in the Finals against Maharaja Agrasen University, Solan.
Although finishing as Runners-Up, the team’s journey reflected the essence of true champions’ resilience, unity, and unrelenting spirit. From the first whistle to the final set, the CPUH contingent proved that success is measured not only in trophies but in the passion and perseverance shown on the field.
