The delegation’s first destination was CSIR- IHBT Palampur, where discussions were held with Directors and Scientists to reinforce the commitment to research and development outlined in the recently signed Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). During this visit, the Director of CSIR IHBT pledged support for establishing a vibrant Tulip Garden on the university campus, promising a colorful future for both academia and nature.
The journey continued with a visit to the Research Institute in Indian Systems of Medicine in Joginder Nagar, where discussions centered on potential collaborations in advancing traditional Indian medical systems.
The visit concluded with a powerful workshop on women’s empowerment at the Ayurveda Regional Research Institute. Hon’ble Vice Chancellor Dr. Sanjeev Sharma expressed his commitment to gender equality, pledging to offer deserving women a prestigious position as Professor of Practice, contingent upon showcasing exceptional skills.
