CPUEST for B.Tech

Admission Criteria:

Entrance Test Details: 
  • Exam Syllabus: Same as JEE Main
  • Exam Duration: 90 min
  • Mode of Examination: 
  1. Online: From anywhere using Desktop/Laptop with a camera. This exam is proctored though Artificial Intelligence. You can also take online Test at our admission office in Kota also
  2. Offline Center: Kota
  • Examination Date:  12th May, 19th May, 2nd June, 16th June and 7th July (Student can opt any one date). For each test, the result shall be declared within 7 days after examinations.
  • Exam Pattern:
  1. Exam consists of 45 Multiple Choice Questions with only one correct answer. 
  2. Each correct answer will award 4 marks and 1 mark will be deducted for the wrong answer. 
  3. Exam shall be proctored with AI (Artificial Intelligence) 
  • Scholarship: 
  • Criteria1: Based on students performance in CPUEST, scholarship up to 90% in tuition fee shall be awarded.
  • Criteria 2: Scholarship is also given to meritorious students based on their past academic performance. For this see scholarship details on course info page 
  • Note: In case a student is eligible to receive scholarship under both criteria, then he/she will receive scholarship whichever is higher.

  1. A student can appear in the CPU-EST only once in an academic session. In case it is found that the student has appeared more than once then, his eligibility for Scholarship shall stand canceled.
  2. Scholarship shall be strictly decided on the basis of the performance of the students subjected to scoring minimum cut off marks in each subject.
  3. The final decision to award scholarship and any other benefits will remain with Career Point University management and this decision will be final and binding on candidates.

Cinematic & Photography Club

The Cinematic & Photography Club is a vibrant community of visual storytellers, filmmakers, and photography enthusiasts who capture moments, frame emotions, and narrate powerful stories through the lens. The club is a creative space where technical skills meet artistic vision, encouraging students to explore the world of cinema and photography.

Objective:

To cultivate passion and proficiency in the fields of photography, cinematography, and visual editing, while providing a platform for students to express themselves creatively and document university life artistically.

Activities & Highlights:

  • Organizing photo walks, short film challenges, and visual storytelling competitions.
  • Hosting workshops on DSLR photography, mobile photography, video editing, lighting, and scriptwriting.
  • Covering major university events, fests, and student activities through photos and short films.
  • Screening classic films, student-made documentaries, and hosting discussions on cinematography and film aesthetics.
  • Maintaining a digital gallery or club page to showcase student work.

Impact:

The club sharpens technical skills, fosters a keen eye for detail, and nurtures creativity. It empowers students to document narratives, express ideas visually, and build portfolios that support careers in media, filmmaking, and creative arts.
