Introduction
The Pioneer Incubator was established in the university on 27th September 2019. In collaboration with the Department of Industry Govt of Himachal Pradesh under the Chief Minister’s Start-up /Innovation Projects /New Industries Scheme. A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between the Department of Industry and Career Point University Hamirpur. The funds to the tune of rupees 80,00000 (Eighty lakhs). were provisioned to give support for entrepreneurial and managerial development of Small and Medium Enterprises(SMEs) To undertake and promote entrepreneurial activities in the region.

To serve as a Pioneer incubator to nurture and guide entrepreneurial initiatives with social and/or economic objectives.
Mission Statement
Our mission is to foster innovation and incubation aligned with industry needs, while strengthening start-up ecosystems at institutional, local, and regional levels. We empower communities through capacity-building in social entrepreneurship, revitalize indigenous knowledge and skills, and drive social transformation using technology and sustainable processes.

Incubation Policy
The Incubation Cell is open to all residents of India with innovative ideas or early-stage startups that show potential for scalability and positive impact.
Application Process
Prospective members must submit a business plan or project proposal detailing the idea, market potential, and team capabilities. A selection committee will review applications, and shortlisted candidates will be invited for an interview.

Startups are monitored against key milestones, receiving regular feedback to support growth and improvement.
Exit Policy
Startups that achieve financial stability and scaling milestones will graduate from the Incubation Cell. Graduated members are encouraged to support the cell through mentorship or other forms of assistance.
Confidentiality
The Incubation Cell ensures the confidentiality of members’ ideas and business plans, which will not be disclosed to third parties without prior consent.
