Dramatics Club
The Dramatics Club is the heartbeat of theatrical arts on campus, bringing together students who are passionate about acting, scriptwriting, direction, stagecraft, and performance. It is a creative arena where stories come alive, voices find power, and emotions are translated into compelling expressions on stage.
Objective:
To promote the art of drama and theatre, provide a platform for creative expression, and foster confidence, communication, and teamwork among students through stage performances and theatrical experiences.
Activities & Highlights:
- Organizing stage plays, street plays (nukkad natak), mono acts, mime acts, and improvisational theatre.
- Conducting workshops on acting, voice modulation, scriptwriting, and stage direction.
- Participating in inter-collegiate and national-level theatre competitions and cultural fests.
- Hosting drama festivals, open mic evenings, and theatre appreciation sessions on campus.
- Creating awareness on social issues through impactful performances and campus campaigns.
Impact:
The Dramatics Club sharpens public speaking, enhances emotional intelligence, and builds leadership and team spirit. It transforms students into confident performers and socially aware individuals while offering a platform to showcase their theatrical talents.
