Swaram Club
The Swaram Club is the official music and melody club of the university, dedicated to nurturing musical talent and promoting the joy of rhythm, harmony, and vocal expression. It brings together students who are passionate about singing, instrumental music, and the cultural richness of musical traditions - both Indian and Western.
Objective:
To provide a platform for musically inclined students to explore, perform, and refine their talents, while contributing to the cultural vibrancy of campus life through music.
Activities & Highlights:
- Organizing solo and group performances, jam sessions, and open mic nights.
- Conducting workshops on classical, folk, contemporary, and fusion music, as well as vocal training and instrumental mastery.
- Performing at university events such as fresher’s parties, farewell functions, cultural fests, and national celebrations.
- Participating in inter-university and state-level music competitions and festivals.
- Collaborating with other clubs for themed performances and cross-genre musical presentations.
Impact:
The Swaram Club enhances students' artistic expression, builds confidence, and fosters a sense of community through the universal language of music. It cultivates discipline, coordination, and creative freedom in every participant.
