Whispering Wordsmith Club
The Whispering Wordsmith Club is the official literary and creative writing club of the university, formed for students who find power in words and magic in expression. It is a sanctuary for poets, storytellers, debaters, essayists, bloggers, and avid readers who wish to craft, create, and communicate through the beauty of language.
Objective:
To cultivate a culture of reading, writing, and literary discussion on campus, while offering a platform for students to refine their communication skills and celebrate the written and spoken word.
Activities & Highlights:
- Organizing poetry slams, storytelling sessions, and creative writing contests.
- Hosting debates, group discussions, and literary quizzes.
- Publishing student-written content in the university magazine, blog, or newsletter.
- Inviting guest authors, poets, and journalists for interactive sessions and workshops.
- Celebrating literary days (like World Poetry Day or Book Day) with themed events and readings.
