Welcome to the Center for Green Energy Research at Career Point University-Hamirpur,Himachal Pradesh. Established on January 17, 2024, our center aims to be a pivotal hub for
fostering collaboration among the Administration, Faculty, Staff, and Students in advancing the field of green sciences and technology. Our mission is to drive innovation and implement
sustainable solutions across a range of areas, with a particular focus on energy efficiency and waste management. We are committed to integrating cutting-edge research, practical
applications, and community engagement to address environmental challenges and promote a greener future. Through interdisciplinary efforts and strategic partnerships, we strive to make a significant impact on the development and adoption of green technologies, contributing to both local and global sustainability goals.
Achievements
Activities Organized: The center organized a National Seminar on “Recent Trends in Green Energy with Nanotechnology” on February 15, 2024.
Research Publications: Three research articles have been published in esteemed SCI and Scopus-indexed scientific journals.
Book Chapters: Two book chapters have been accepted for publication by Elsevier and Bentham Science Publishers.
Future Plans
Increase Public Awareness: Promote the benefits and applications of solar, wind, biogas, and biomass technologies to the general public through targeted educational campaigns and
outreach initiatives.
Forge Strategic Partnerships: Establish and formalize Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs) with relevant organizations to enhance collaboration and leverage complementary
expertise.
Advance Research and Innovation: Focus on developing and conducting research projects, securing patents for innovative technologies, and publishing findings in reputable journals.
Enhance National and International Collaboration: Foster collaborations with research institutions and organizations both nationally and internationally to drive advancements and
share knowledge in the field of green energy.
