Apart from imparting quality education to the rural youths, the University has supported economically poor students by providing government scholarships of around Rs. Seven Crore during the last five years. In Himachal Pradesh, the state government and various other organizations offer scholarships to SC, ST, and OBC students to promote education and provide financial assistance.
